Math Textbook Homework Pg 9 # 25 & 26

The answer to Q25 is 176, 2574 and 539. 2^4x11 = 16x11 = 176 which is a factor, so to get the other factors, we should multiply 3^5 and 7^2 by 11 individually.

The answer to Q26 is 3,7 and 13 as these numbers can be used in multiplication with the extra number in the number statement to give a factor of the numbers.

    Q25:
You've explained how you get the answers.
on the other hand, could you explain why you only multiply the numbers by 11. Is there another way to find the factors?

    Q26:
What do you mean by "these numbers can be used in multiplication with the extra number in the number statement"?
